Organizing of employment fairs is done with the objective of providing for productive employment, i.e. providing of high quality staff to the interested companies (for a known employer), thus reducing unemployment of the young. Such fairs enable direct contacts between people with different vocational profiles on one side, and interested employers on the other.
Target groups :
- young, unemployed people, as well as those looking for their first employment
- young people with little work experience, who have completed their schools
- those who are sufficiently qualified for the required jobs
- unemployed persons listed in the National Employment Service records
- work force made redundant after restructuring
During the fairs, additional programs are organized on the following topics:
- drawing up of CVs
- the technique of presenting oneself and sitting for interviews
- How to get employed? (acquiring of job-searching skills)
- How to get free-of-charge training?
- information related to self-employment - drawing up of business plans
- obtaining information on currently mostly required jobs and necessary qualifications
- getting the unemployed familiar with those employers who need specific staff they are willing to train and employ in their companies
